BabyLoong Kiss Lock Bag

This lock bag consists of the main body and the kiss lock, and limbs and  tail, facial feaures and decorations. Facial featues include ears, horns, sideburns, eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and blush. Decorations include the gold ingot, flowers, leaves, hat, and bag strap.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Note:
This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.  When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.
 
 
 

Part 1 Main body,and Kiss LockA​B​

The main body begins by using the adjustable magic ring. For the Part 1, you crochet in rounds counter-clockwise, ad for the Part2&3, you shall crochet from right to left, then sew the main body onto the kiss lock with th wrong side facing up. Part 2 Limbs and tailC​

Crochet limbs and tail, respectively, and sew them onto the corresponing positions on the main body.

Step 1 Hands 34' 37'' ​

There are two hands in total. The main part of a hand begins by using the adjustable magic ring and crochet in rounds counter-clockwise. Add fingers and strips onto the hand to finish it. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 2 Feet 42' 42'' ​

There are two feet in total. Each foot consists of a main part, big and small pats, and toes. Start the main part with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Make two pieces of the main part and sew them into one. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 3 Tail 55' 50'' ​

Start the tail with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise with the wrong side facing up. Attach a pom-pom at the tip afte finishing sewing. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 Facial featuresD​

The facial feaures consists of ears, horns, sideburns, eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and blush.

Step 1 Ears 62' 28'' ​

There are two ears in total. Each ear starts with a chain and crocet in rows. After sewing ears onto the main body, apply the blush. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 2 Horns 68' 25'' ​

There are two horns in total. Each horns starts with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise for the Part1, then start the Part2 and work on the joint part. Make sure the right side is facing up. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 3 Sideburns 75' 34'' ​

There are four sideburns in total. Each of them starts with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Make two pieces of the main part and sew them into one. Make sure the right side is facing up. Then sew 2 sideburns below the each side of the ear. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 4 Eyes, eyebrows, mouth, blush 78' 06'' ​

There are two eyes in total. Each of them starts with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Sew eyes onto the main body and attach coins onto eyes, sew eyebrows and attach the mouth. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 4 DecorationsE​

Decorations consist of a gold ingot, flowers, leaves, a hat, and bag strap.

Step 1 Gold ingot 80' 45'' ​

Start the gold ingot with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Decoration the gold ingot with slip-stitch edge. Attach it in the middle of hands. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 2 Flowers and Leaves 87' 54'' ​

There are big flower, small flower and leaves. Crochet and sew them respecively. Start big and small flowers with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Pay attention to the color changing from Rnd 2 to 3. Decoration flowers with slip-stitch edge and pistils. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 3 Hat 97' 32'' ​

Start the hat with a magic ring and crochet in rounds counterclockwise with the right side facing up. Pay attention to the color changing from Rnd 3 to 4. Decoration the hat with one half-bead, a blue diamond, and gold yarn. Then attach the hat onto the main body. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 4 Bag strap 100' 08'' ​

Make Romanian cord to form a 90cm braid as the bag strap (The length of the braid can be adjusted as needed). Make sure you leave a 20cm tail in the beginning and the end of the braid. Then sew the strap onto the kiss lock. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
