Pattern format
Instructions
This shawl consists of motifs, cuffs and overall lace. First, complete all the motifs and join them together. Then, edging the cuffs. Next, crochet the overall lace. Finally, if needed, create a drawstring.


The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: South African Soft Mohair Mixed Hand-Knitting Yarn
Hook: 2.00 mm crochet hook

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Part 1 MotifsA 00' 59''
There are two designs of motifs : Motif 1 and Motif 2. Motif 2 is actualy half of Motif One. All motifs begin with the chain ring. Motif 1 is crocheted in rounds. Motif 2 is worked in rows. The first motif is Motif 1, crochet it as usual. From the second Motif 1, begin joining to last motif when working the last round. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 2 Sleeve join and cuffB 39' 43''
Once all Motif Ones are done, need to join a section on both sides as the sleeves. Then, edging the cuff. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.



Part 3 Overall lace and drawstringC 55' 55''
After completing the cuff, work along the edges of the remaining Motif 1 and Motif 2, Work in rounds to create the overall lace. The design of the overall lace is same to the cuff edge. But the overall lace has fewer rounds. Finally, make the drawstring. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Drawstring: The rope is crocheted using 2 strands held together, making chain stitches. The length of the rope should be 80-90 cm, and you can adjust the length according to your preference.
