The cardigan consists of the back piece, the front pieces, the cuffs, the button bands, the hem and the buttons. First, crochet the back and front pieces. Then, join the body pieces and sew the sides of the sleeves. After that, crochet one row of single crochet around the neckline. Next, crochet the cuffs. The button bands and the hem are crocheted as one piece. Note that one side of the button bands should have buttonholes, and the other side should have buttons sewn on.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Part 1 Back PieceA 01' 42'' (Part 1)

The back piece is divided into Section 1A1, Section 2A2, and Section 3A3. Section 1 starts with a foundation chain and is worked back and forth. After completing, continue to crochet Section 2 without cutting the yarn. For Section 3, you need to cast on again and continue working back and forth on top of Section 2. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: After completing Section 1, the width of the piece should match the chest width, and the height can be referenced from the diagram. If there is a significant difference, it is recommended to adjust your tension or switch to a different size of hook and re-crochet (it can be slightly larger, but not smaller).

Part 2 Front PiecesB 00' 08'' (Part 2)

The front pieces are a right front piece and a left front piece. Both begin with a foudation chain and are worked back and forth. After completing, join them with the back piece. Then, work one row of single crochet around the neckline. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 CuffsC 25' 47'' (Part 2)

After joining the body pieces, join the yarn at the armhole. Then crochet the cuff back and forth in rounds. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: If you're crocheting the 3# Lace Version, try it on after completing Round 3. If the cuff fits properly, in Round 4, you can crochet evenly with single crochets without any decreases.

Part 4 Button Bands, Hem and ButtonsD 31' 42'' (Part 2)

The button bands and the hem are crocheted as one piece. It is worked back and forth in rounds. After completing it, cut a 30 cm yarn to sew on the buttons. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: The pattern for the button bands and the hem is incorporated into the pattern for the body pieces.
