Bouquet Blanket-Lily of the Valley

This blanket is divided into the main part, edging, and Lily of the Valley flowers. Crochet the main part first, then the edging, followed by crocheting the Lily of the Valley flowers. 

Materials:   4-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn,

or 5-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn,
or Impression Misty Feather.
Crochet Hook:  3.00 mm Crochet Hook for 4-Ply Cotton Version
3.50 mm Crochet Hook for 5-Ply Cotton Version and Misty Feather Version.

Note:
This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1  The Main Part

(the general pattern for all different Bouquet Blanket)

R1: MR, 12F
R2: (FV, CH)×12
R3: (F, FV, CH)×12
R4: (F, FV, F, CH)×12
R5: (3F, FV, CH)×12
R6: (2F, FV, 2F, CH)×12
R7: (5F, FV, CH)×12

Note: 
1, The main part consists of 12 pattern repeats per round, with each repeat increasing by 1 st; each round has 12 more sts than the previous one.
2, On odd-numbered rows, increase in the last stitch of each repeat; on even-numbered rows, increase in the middle stitch of each repeat. Staggering the increases in this way ensures that the openwork aligns in a straight line. Follow this pattern consistently to complete the main part of the blanket.

The sample description:
5-Ply Cotton version: 
      The small blanket is worked in 33 rounds, resulting in a diameter of approximately 70 cm and featuring 51 flowers;
      The large blanket requires 47 rounds, yielding a diameter of approximately 110 cm and including 96 flowers.
4-Ply Cotton version: 
      The small blanket is worked in 35 rounds, resulting in a diameter of approximately 70 cm and featuring 72 flowers;
      The large blanket requires 51 rounds, yielding a diameter of approximately 100 cm and including 104 flowers.

Note: Since crocheters may have different tensions, there could be slight variations in the blanket size, the number of rounds, and the flowers count. The crochet technique stays consistent, so adjustments can be made based on your specific outcome.

Part 2 Edging

 (This section is best understood when combined with video instruction.)

Work with green color yarn. 

R1: join yarn in any st of the last round of the main part, then work a beginning chain and work: (X, 5CH, K2), K2 means skip 2 sts, repeat this group until completing the whole round, finish the last 5 chains, join with the first single crochet with a slip stitch.

R2: This round is worked into the chain spaces in the previous round, alternating between two groups.
 
Group 1 Work into the space as follows:
Begin with 1 single crochet, chain 3, work 1 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet, chain 1, and 1 double crochet. (This creates a total of 4 double crochets, each separated by 1 chain.), Finish with 3 chains and 1 single crochet.
 
Group 2 Work into next space as follows:
Work 1 single crochet, chain 7, Return to the 5th chain from the hook and slip stitch (this forms a picot). 
Then work 3 chains and work 1 single crochet into the same space.

Repeat Group 1 and Group 2 alternately around the entire round. After completing the last single crochet, slip stitch into the first single crochet of the round to join. Leave a long tail, fasten off, and weave in the ends.

Part 3 Lily of the Valley flowers

 (This section is best understood when combined with video instruction.)
The flower worked on Group 1

For the small blanket of 5-Ply Cotton Version:
Skip a pair of leaves in every 3 flowers, form a total of 51 flowers.
 
For the large blanket of 5-Ply Cotton Version and both size of 4-Ply Cotton Version:
Work a flower corresponding each pair of leaves.
 

Part 1:
Join yarn into the middle space of 3 chains and double crochet of  Group 1, chain 3, then work 3 unclosed double crochets, and then yarn over and draw through all loops on the hook (form a dc3-bobble), then make 1 chain;
 
In the next space, work 5 incomplete double crochets, then yarn over and draw through all loops on the hook (forming a dc5-bobble). Chain 1. In each of the remaining 3 spaces, work as follows: two dc5-bobble， and one dc4-bobble,  with chain 1 between each. After completing the last bobble, extend the loop, insert the hook into the first bobble stitch, pull the extended loop through, and tighten the loop.
 
Part 2:
Chain 1, slip stitch into the space between the 1st and 2nd petals. Chain 6, slip stitch into the 4th chain from the hook to create an arch. Slip stitch back into the space between the petals, work a double crochet, chain 3, and slip stitch into the back ridge of 3rd chain from the hook (which is the first chain after the double crochet).
 
In the space between the 2nd and 3rd petals, work a double crochet, chain 3, and slip stitch into the 3rd chain from the hook. Work another double crochet in the same space, chain 3, and slip stitch once more.
Repeat this process for the remaining 3 gaps. After completing the final stitch, slip stitch into the 3rd chain made at the beginning of Part 2. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail, and weave in the ends.
 
Repeat the above steps to complete the remaining flowers.
