Creamy Mousse Blanket

Pattern format

Instructions

The blanket is crocheted outward from the center, with no sewing required.

Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Since there are many cases of crocheting across rows, if the chart instructions are unclear, refer to the video tutorial. For loose-tension crocheters, it is recommended to use a 5.00 mm crochet hook.
Materials: Susan's Family Morandi 8#

Hook: 5.50 mm crochet hook

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Part 1

Part 1 starts with a circular motif and gradually transforms into a square shape.

Note:
1. If color changing is needed in the next round, fasten off at the end of the current round with an invisible slip stitch and join the new yarn to continue crocheting. If not , do not fasten off at the end of the current round; instead, make one slip stitch at the corresponding position for a smooth transition.
2. In round 16, alternate between crocheting in R14 and R15.

Part 2

Part 2 expands the square to approximately 76 cm² by modifying the pattern and coordinating the colors.

Part 3

Part 3 is crocheted along the opposite sides of the square, turning the piece into a rectangle.

Note: Work in rows to transform the square into a rectangle by crocheting along the opposite sides of the square.

Part 4

Part 4 involves shaping the blanket and crocheting the lace trim.

Note: Crochet the outer edge of the blanket and the lace trim in rounds.

Part 5 Tassels

Crochet the tassels with the scrap yarn you have left.

Materials: yarns you like
Suggested hook: 3.00 mm-3.50 mm crochet hook
