Dancing Lion Crossbody Bag

This bag is divided into several sections: the main body, the facial features section, the wording, and the strap part.

Note:
1.This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2. Working in joined round
When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

Part 1 Main PartA​ 00' 34'' ​(Part 1) 

The main part is divided into three sections: the back piece, the front piece, and the sewing. Both the back and front pieces consist of two parts each: the fabric and the edging. The back piece fabric is divided into an increasing section, an even section, and a decreasing section. The front piece fabric is divided into an increasing section and an even section. After completing the knitting, crochet the edging in rounds. Finally, sew the front and back pieces together. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note:
1. After completing the 4th row of the even section of the back piece, the fabric should measure approximately 3 cm in height and about 10 cm in width. If there's a significant difference, you need to adjust your tension and crochet again. You can also compare it with your mobile phone; each side should be at least 1 cm wider than the phone.
2. While crocheting the even section of the back piece, you can also compare its length with your mobile phone. The entire piece should be about 6 cm longer than the phone. When the even section of the front piece is completed, its height should be roughly the same as the phone. You can adjust the number of rows based on actual needs.
3. At the end of round 2 when crocheting the edging of the front piece, leave a tail of approximately 1 meter for sewing.

Part 2 Face Features SectionB​ 45' 45'' ​(Part 1) 

The facial features are divided into eyes, whiskers, nose, horns, ears, and accessory assembly. First, complete the crocheting of each part. When assembling, start by securing the ears in place, then fasten the buttons and eyes along with the whiskers, attach the patches directly, followed by fixing the nose. After completion, secure the magnetic clasps, and finally sew on the horns. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note:
1. For the eyes and whiskers, leave a 30cm yarn tail at the end of the fourth round and sixth row for sewing.
2. In the sixth row, work into the back loop only of the fourth round stitches. In the seventh round, work into the front loop of the fourth round stitches where already crocheted, and work into the back loop only of the fourth round stitches for all other stitches.
3. For the nose, leave a 10cm yarn tail at the end.

Part 3 WordC​ 00' 08'' ​(Part 2) 

Let's move on to making the characters. There are four characters in total: "Da Ji" (good luck) and "Ping An" (safety). First, crochet the strokes, then secure them, followed by crocheting the edging, and finally, glue them onto the corresponding positions. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: All the strokes are made with yarn over chain stitches, and after completing them, secure them according to the style of the character.

Part 4 StrapD​ 18' 04'' ​(Part 2) 

The strap section is divided into three parts: the rope, the pendant, and the coins. The rope is approximately 110cm (reserve about 3.5m of yarn before making the hanging ornament chain stitch, and the length of the rope can be adjusted); the pendant is divided into three parts: Fortune bag, firecracker, and sewing together. There are two strands of coins in total. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
