This blanket consists of a central grid piece, outer frame pieces, strip connections, edging for the outer frame pieces, and decorations. Work these elements in sequence.

 Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

ch4 sl picot: chain 4, and then join with one slip stitch into both the front loop of the previous stitch and the front leg strand of the previous stitch.

ch6 sl picot: chain 6, and then join with 1 slip stitch back into the both front loop and below strand of the last stitch

 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2. Working in joined round
When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

The fabric piece is worked using the diagonal method, working back and forth in rows, divided into an increasing section and a decreasing section. Throughout the middle part, new yarn is continuously joined, and colors are changed to crochet the corresponding pattern. After completion, the edging is crocheted.
