Flower Shadow Pillow Case-Blanket

This blanket consists of the main part,  flowers, granny squares, the border and the accessories. First, we'll work with the main part, then make and attach the flowers, Next, we'll crochet the granny squares and join them together. Then, we'll crochet the border, Lastly, we'll make and attach the accessories.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: 4-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn
Hook: 3.0 mm crochet hook

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Main partA​ 00' 47'' ​

The main part is divided into the Section 1, Section 2, and Edges. The section 1 begin with a foundation chain, and work back and forth in rows along the chains. The section 2 join yarn from the foundation chain of section 1, also work in rows along the chains, create symmetrical patterns. The edges start from the junction of section 1 and section 2, Work in rounds along the edge of the main part, and switch colors during the process. Refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Part 2 FlowersB​ 28' 55'' ​

The flowers in Section 1 and Section 2 are identical. They're symmetrically arranged, only differ in colors. Composed of branches of varying lengths, along with five types of flowers and leaves. Start by crocheting the pieces separately. Then, sew them onto the main body at the corresponding spots. For specifics, refer to the video demonstration.

Note: The colors of each flower are not fixed. You can refer to the finished product or choose suitable colors based on your own preference. Remember, the colors of the flowers in Section 1 and Section 2 are different.

Part 3 Granny squares and JoinC​ 53' 38'' ​

The granny squares start with a magic ring, work individual in rounds. Switch colors during the crocheting process. After that, join them to the main piece using the “Join As You Go” method to attach them all around the edges (06#Bright White). For specifics, refer to the video demonstration.

Note：Actually, the color scheme for each round of the Granny Squares is different. You can randomly choose your preferred colors based on the amount of yarn you have.

Part 4 BorderD​ 79' 24'' ​

The border will be worked around the joined granny squares, work in rounds and switch colors during the process. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Part 5 AccessoriesE​ 86' 03'' ​

Accessories include a zipper,a lace trim and a flannel blanket. First, attach the zipper to the corresponding positions in Section 1 and Section 2. Then, using the chain ring method, crochet in rounds for the lace trim (06#Bright White), and attach it above the zipper. Finally, assemble the flannel blanket to the wrong side of the blanket.
