This top is divided into several parts: the body, front piece, back, collar edge, and sleeves. Working from the bottom up, you'll first crochet the body, then separately crochet the front and back pieces, and finally work on the collar edge and sleeves.

1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 


PART 1 Body A​ 00' 45'' (Part 1) 

The body consists of 1 round of piece 1, 2 rounds of piece 2, and 2 rounds of motif 1. First, crochet these 3 rounds separately, and then crochet 2 rounds of flower piece 1, joining the 3 pieces together as you go.  Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

 Note: After finishing crocheting the piece, measure its size. If there's a significant difference from the dimensions indicated in the pattern, it's recommended to adjust your tension and crochet again.  


PART 2 Front Piece B​, Back Piece C​ 00' 08'' (Part 2) 

The front body is divided into the chest piece and the shoulder- part. The chest piece consists of 1 Piece 3 and 1 row of Motif 1. The shoulder-part is divided into the left and right shoulder-parts, with "left" and "right" referring to the wearer's perspective. The back piece is divided into the back shoulder-part piece and the chest piece. The back shoulder-part are crocheted starting from the cast-on positions of the left and right shoulder-parts on the front piece. The chest piece consists of 1 Piece 3 and 2 rows of Motif 1. The crocheting and connecting methods are similar to those used for the chest piece on the front piece.  Please refer to the video demonstration for more details. 

PART 3 Collar Edge D​​ 49' 39'' (Part 2) 

The collar is crocheted in rounds along the neckline.  Please refer to the video demonstration for more details. 


PART 4 Sleeves E​ 57' 04'' (Part 2) 

Sleeves can be either long or short, depending on your preferred style. The crocheting techniques are similar for both. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
