This cardigan divides into a back piece, left and right front pieces, hem, sleeves, and buttons.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: Susan's Family Morandi Cashmere 3# &3-Ply 30% Cashmere Hand Knitting Yarn

Needles: 3.75 mm, 80 cm circular needle for back piece and hem
3.75 mm, 60 cm circular needle for the rest

K on RS, P on WS: knit on right side, purl on wrong side

P on RS, K on WS: purl on right side, knit on wrong side

ksl: on first row, knit in right side or purl in wrong side; on second row, slip the stitch with yarn on the wrong side of work.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together on right side, purl 2 stitches together on wrong side

skp(o): on right side, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit next stitch, pass slipped stitch over; on wrong side, change the place of first 2 loops, purl 2 stitches together

yo: yarn over

yarn over short row: knit to the turning point in the first row, stop and turn, yarn over before working, and closing the gap when reach the yarn over.

LLI: Left lifted increase: knit next stitch then knit into the stitch 1 row below the stitch just knitted. The resulting increase should slant slightly to the right.

RLI: Right Lifted Increase: insert needle in stitch 1 row below next stitch and knit; then knit the next stitch on the left needle. The resulting increase should slant slightly to the left

2-st LCD: 2 stitches left crossed decrease

2-st RCD: 2 stitches right crossed decrease

fishbone stitch: knit the 2nd stitch before the first stitch, then knit the first stitch, slip both stitches off needle

Note:
1，This pattern is using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
2，The chart represent the right side of fabric, so check the key to see how to work a certain symbol on the right side and on the wrong side.

Part 1 Back Piece

The back piece is worked using the provisional cast on method, working back and forth.

Part 2 Left and Right pieces

The left and right front pieces are started with a provisional cast on and worked back and forth. The stocking stitch sections at the shoulders are joined with the shoulder section of the back piece for binding off together. Continue working the pattern sections, then join and bind off the pattern sections from both sides together. Finally, sew the side seams of the front and back body pieces together.

Part 3 Hem

The hem is worked by picking up stitches on the front and back pieces, working in rows back and forth, and leaving space for buttonholes.

Part 4 Sleeves

The sleeves are knitting back and forth using an alternating cable cast on, and finally sewn together with the armhole positions of the front and back pieces.

Part 5 Buttons

Finally, sew the buttons on the corresponding positions of the front body pattern section and the hem.
