Huaxi

This drawstring bag consists of three parts: the main body, decorations, and straps. First, crochet the main body to the desired height. Then, crochet the small flowers, leaves, and tassels for the decorations, and sew them onto the bag opening. Finally, crochet two straps of different lengths and attach them to the corresponding positions. There are two versions with identical working methods, but different color schemes and decorative flowers.

Note: Hand-measured, with a possible error of 1-2 cm. Due to differences in individual tension, the sample size is for reference only.

Note: 
1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
2. When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches. 

PART 1 Main PartA​​ 00' 08'' ​

The main part is crocheted in rounds on the finished bag base. The exact height can be determined according to the measurements shown in the photo, or you can decide freely based on your preference. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

PART 2 DecorationsB​ 26' 30'' ​​

The decorations include roses, small flowers, cherry blossoms, sunflowers, and tassel leaves. First complete the crocheting part, then sew the flowers and tassel leaves onto the corresponding positions at the bag opening, and finally thread the completed straps through the bag opening. For details, please refer to the video demonstration.

Note: Sunflowers in the decoration are only for the spinach green version, and cherry blossoms are only for the light lilac version. The crocheting method for the rest parts is identical for both versions.

Sunflower petals (4-ply cotton #70 Samoan Sun)

Note: When crocheting sunflower petals, always wrap the wire. After completing the lower layer petals, continue crocheting the lower layer petals on the remaining half stitch at the joining point of the upper layer petals.

Note: Use 4-ply cotton #37 Piquant Green, pull out 1 strand to crochet, tighten as you go; the right leaf should be pulled out from the middle of the chain stitches. 

PART 3 StrapsC​​​ 81' 06'' ​

The strap is divided into two parts: a short one and a long one, and the length can be adjusted according to your height. Sew the short strap directly onto both sides of the bag opening. Attach the lobster clasp to the long strap and connect it to the D-ring on the bag body. For details, please refer to the video demonstration.
