This vest consists of the front and back pieces, collar, overall lace trim, belt and accessories.




The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
Part1 Front and back piecesA 00' 32'' (Part 1)
The front and back pieces are identical, start from foundation chain and work back and forth. It's divided into the body and the shoulder straps, the body has different patterns, so it's divided into Section 1, Section 2 and Section 3, crochet them separately and then join the shoulders.Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Note:
1.Here refer to when the vest is being worn.
2.After completing the 6th row of body section 1, you can measure the fabric piece, it should be about 32 cm wide and 3 cm tall. If there's a big difference, you need to adjust your tension and re-crochet to avoid affecting the finished dimension.
3.The chains in section 2 can be worked slightly tighter to keep the fabric width as consistent as possible with Section 1.
4.Shoulder joining is done on the wrong side by inserting the hook into the corresponding positions of the front and back bpieces, then working a single crochet to join them, between each single crochets, chain 3 as a bridge. You can also adjust the specific number of chains and the placement of the single crochet stitches according to your preference.

Part2 CollarB 25' 37'' (Part 1)
Crochet the collar in rounds around the neckline formed by the front and back pieces, switch yarns during the process, add a bead chain when finished. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: The number of single crochets in the 1th round of first round of the collar can be adjusted by picking up stitches as needed, just ensure that the piece looks neat and flat when finished, the entry position can also be adjusted in the final round.
Part3 Overall lace trimC 45' 27'' (Part 1)
Work the overall lace trim along the outer edges of the front and back pieces, crocheting in rounds counterclockwise. Switch colors as needed during the process. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.


Part4 BeltD 00' 09'' (Part 2)
There are a total of 2 belts, both start with some groups, crochet in rounds around the groups chain (About 80 cm long, if you want to adjust the length, you can increase or decrease the number of starting groups as needed). After completing, sew them onto the corresponding position of the overall lace trim. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.


Part5 AccessoriesE 06' 05'' (Part 2)
The accessories divided into front piece decorations and earrings. The front piece decorations consist of small flowers, irises, leaves, calyxes, stems and assembly. First, crochet each part separately, then assemble them into this pattern. Finally, use the remaining yarn to crochet the earrings. You can refer to the finished product for the color scheme or choose your own colors based on the remaining yarn and your preference. The front piece decorations and earrings both are divided into the stems, calyxes and irises. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Note:The decorative flower stems on the front piece decorations is about 8cm long, cut approximately 2.4m of yarn and fold it in half to crochet, leave a tail at the end for sewing. The decorative flower stems on the earrings is about 4cm long, cut approximately 1.2m of yarn and fold it in half to crochet. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Leave about 30-40 cm of yarn tail at the end of each section for sewing together.
