This bag is divided into four sections: the body, crab legs, crab claws, and accessories.

widthheight
20cm18cm

Note: Hand-measured with a 1-2 cm margin of error. Since everyone's tension varies, the sample size is for reference only.

Yarns: Susan's Family Sudden Impression, Diamond Thread Wool, 4-Ply Combed Cotton.
Tools: 3.0 mm crochet hook.

Note: 1. All single crochet stitches are cross single crochet. 2. Unless specified as doubled, all crochet is done with single strand. 3. Variegated yarn will be used during crocheting. Since variegated yarn has multiple color sections, the final look will vary depending on where you start crocheting. You can choose colors based on the finished sample or crochet without selecting colors. 4. The bag body can be crocheted without color selection, but for crab legs, claws, and eyelids, colors on both sides need to be relatively symmetrical, so color selection is required.

Note:
1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
2. When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

PART 1 Bag Body A 01' 13'' (Part 1)

Work from bottom up, divide into Section 1 and Section 2. Start with Section 1 using foundation chain and work back and forth. After completing Section 1, continue without cutting the yarn to work in the round around the entire edge for Section 2. Once all crocheting is finished, sew on the purse frame accessories. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

PART 2 Crab Legs and Claws B 35' 12'' (Part 1)

First, crochet 8 identical crab legs using a magic ring and working in the round. For the crab claws, you'll need to crochet 2 total. Start by crocheting the small claw separately, then the large claw. When you reach R 14, join the small claw and continue crocheting together. Remember to stuff with fiberfill as you go. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
