PART 1 Main Part

Divide into back body, front body, and sides. Start with the back body using a double-chain cast on, then work back and forth. When reaching the shoulder area, begin working the front and back bodies separately. After completing both bodies, crochet the side sections. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

PART 2 Bottom Edge

The bottom edge is divided into 7 parts—back body, front body, and side edges. Work back and forth on each part for 12 rows using the same crochet method. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

PART 3 Front Band

Work the front band by switching colors in the same direction. On the side edges, work 2 stitches into each double crochet and 1 stitch into each single crochet. For the neckline, work 1 stitch for every chain you see; at the centermost chain of the neckline, make a double crochet increase. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

PART 4 Decorations

The decorations include side edgings, a central lace pattern on both bottom edges, roses, and ties. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

 Side Edging

The Lace In The Middle of The Bottom Edge

 Rose

Note: The rose is crocheted directly onto the 6th row of the bottom edge, in the center of the leaf, using a double chain cast on. After crocheting, roll it up and shape into a flower. Secure with a few stitches at the double chain base, then attach to the blanket with one stitch. Crochet the two colored roses alternately.

Note: There are two types of drawstrings. Make them with double chain cast on at appropriate positions on the side and front band, respectively.
