This garment comes in two styles, and the crocheting method is almost identical; the only difference is the length. Both are divided into four parts: neckline edging, shoulder-parts, body, and sleeves. First, crochet the shoulder-parts and body from top to bottom, then work on the sleeves, and finally finish with the neckline edging.

Note:
This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Part 1 Shoulder-partsA

The shoulder-parts are divided into Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3.

Step 1 Section 1A1, Section 2A2 01' 09''

Section 1 includes the cast on and the first round. Section 2 is worked back and forth in 6 rows on top of Section 1, forming the difference between front and back behind. After completing Section 2, place a marker at the corresponding position for easy reference when dividing for the armholes later. For more details, please refer to the video demonstration.

Note: After completing the cast on, try to pull it over your head. If it's too small or too big, you need to adjust your tension and crochet again.

Step 2 Section 3A3 37' 14''

Section 3 is crocheted in rounds based on Section 1 and Section 2. 6 rounds for 1 sequence, with a total of 4 sequences. The stitches and crochet method for each repeat are the same, but the number of patterns differs. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Increase stitches in the sixth round of each sequence in Section 3 of the shoulder-parts.
SequenceIncrease StitchesTotal StitchesInstruction
Sequence One increase 4 sts304For the increase sequence, first, on the fifth round of the current sequence, roughly evenly place stitch markers to mark (add a few stitches then place a few stitch markers). In the chain spaces marked by the stitch markers, work 4 double crochets. For the rest of the positions, follow the pattern chart and work evenly.
Sequence Two increase 4 sts384
Sequence Threeeven480
Sequence Four increase 8 sts608

Part 2 BodyB 48' 44''

The body section is also crocheted in a pattern repeat, 5 rounds for 1 sequence. The number of sequences differs between the long and short versions of the garment. When crocheting the first sequence, divide for the armhole positions on both sides. For the last sequence, crochet the first 4 rounds as usual, and for the last round, crochet the hem lace trim part. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Part 3 SleevesC 71' 02''

Crochet in rounds along the reserved armhole section, working the same stitch pattern as the body part. The number of repeats can be adjusted according to your needs. The last repeat should be identical to the last repeat of the body. The crochet method for both left and right sleeves is identical. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Note: Except for the first round, the other parts are crocheted in the same way as the body section, following the body section pattern chart.

Part 4 Neckline edgingD 75' 19''

Work 2 rounds of crocheting in rounds on the shoulder-parts cast on. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.
