Season Forest Intarsia Blanket

This blanket consists of four parts: the main part, lace trim, embroidery, and lining. The main part is made up of 14 different types of knit pieces. Each column of pieces is knitted separately and then sewn together. After that, the lace trim is knitted  in rounds, and embroidery is added at the corresponding positions. Finally, the lining fabric is sewn on.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Note: 
1, The chart represent the right side of fabric, so check the key to see how to work a certain symbol on the right side and on the wrong side.
2, This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Main partA​ 01' 53'' ​

The knit pieces are created using the method of casting on as you knit, working back and forth. For one column of knit pieces, you only need to cast on once. After completing each piece, continue knitting without casting on again. The pieces are connected at the beginning and end. After completing one column of knit pieces, bind off on the right side. In total, knit 6 column of pieces, arranging them according to the diagram. Sew the corresponding positions together after all pieces are completed. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note:
① When working back and forth, the wrong side should be worked with the opposite stitch.
② After completing 5-6 rows of the first piece, measure the width of the piece (each piece should be about 20 cm wide). If it differs significantly from the finished measurement, adjust your tension and rework the piece.
③ In the following jacquard pattern, the triangular color blocks are the embroidered sections.

Part 2 Lace trimB​ 39' 27'' ​

The lace trim is worked with 2 circular needles around the edges of the main piece, knitting in single rib pattern counterclockwise. Starting from the 2nd round, change colors for the crochet work. For some rounds, you need to increase stitches at the corners. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note:
① The pattern chart for knitting in rounds is viewed from right to left for each round.
② Pick up stitches along the horizontal edge of the blanket starting from the right side of the second knitting piece. Pick up: Horizontal 154 sts + 1 st at the corner + Vertical 141 sts + 1 st at the corner + H 185 sts + 1 st at the corner + V 141 sts + 1 st at the corner + H 31 sts = 656 sts total.
③ Pick up 30 sts across each knitting piece on the horizontal edge, and 1 st at each sewing position. Excluding the 1 st at each corner, the number of stitches picked up along each side must be an odd number.

Part 3 EmbroideryC​, and Lining sewn onD​ 61' 57'' ​

Finally, embroider at the corresponding position and sew on the lining fabric. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
