Shunhua Lace Top

The vest consists of motifs, motif edging, the front piece, the back piece, connecting of the front and back pieces, overall edging and Romanian cord. Crochet the motifs and join them in rounds, then crochet the edging around one side of the motifs, and join the yarn on the edging, crochet the front and back pieces separately. Once done, connect the side seam  of the front and back pieces, finally, edging along the armholes, the shoulders, and the neckline, end with Romanian cord, shape on the front piece.

Color Scheme
Color Scheme One: For the Rainbow and Wilderness versions, use variegated yarn for crocheting motifs and Shrimp Stitches, and use solid color yarn for the rest.
Color Scheme Two: The Black Beauty and Caramel Cafe versions are crocheted entirely with solid color yarn.

Hook: 2.0 mm crochet hook
3.0 mm crochet hook (for Romanian cord)

ch4 sl picot: chain 4, and then join with one slip stitch into both the front loop of the previous stitch and the front leg strand of the previous stitch.

Part 1 Main part of the vest

The motifs use the chain ring method to start, crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Except for the first motif which is crocheted normally, the last round of the remaining motifs needs to be joined as you go. After the motifs are connected, crochet the motif edging. Crochet around any side of the connected motifs. The front and back pieces are crocheted by joining yarn to the edging, working back and forth in rows. It is divided into the body and the left and right shoulder-parts. The back piece chart is identical to the front piece chart. After it's done, connect the front and back pieces.
