Spring Ripple

This bag consists of the front body, back body, bottom, strap, and strap decorations. First, crochet the front body. While crocheting the back body, you need to connect it with the front body. After completing these parts, pick up and crochet along the body to create the bottom and strap. Finally, make the strap decorations.

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Front bodyA​Back bodyB​ 00' 52'' ​

The front piece includes crocheting motif 1, motif 2, joining them together, crocheting the edging, and working the corner triangles. First, crochet the corresponding number of motif 1, then crochet motif 2, and join the motifs during this process. After that, crochet the edging along the joined motifs, and finally work the corner triangles. The back piece is worked in the same way as the front piece. However, when crocheting the last round of the edging, you need to work and join simultaneously with the short sides of the front piece. For more details, please refer to the video demonstration.

Note: After completing the motif crocheting, measure the dimensions. Motif 1 should be about 5cm, and Motif 2 should be about 9cm. If there's a significant difference, it's recommended to adjust your tension and re-crochet.

Part 2 Bottom of the bagC​ StrapD​ 51' 06'' ​

Crochet the bag bottom along the completed connection of the bag body below. After completion, proceed with the connection; the strap is divided into Section 1 and Section 2, and there are 2 of Section 2. First, crochet Section 1 along the top of the bag body, then work back and forth separately on Section 2. For more details, please refer to the video demonstration.

Note: When connecting the bag bottom, you can refer to the video for joining, or join according to your personal preference. Just make sure it lays flat and looks nice.

Part 3 Strap decorationsE​ 66' 16'' ​

Divide into two parts: the main part and decorative strands. Crochet the main part first, then attach it to the proper position on the strap, and finally sew on the decorative strands. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.
