Sunflower Blanket

The blanket is made of main part, join, edging and accessories.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Materials: 4-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn
Hook: 3.0 mm crochet hook

Note:
1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Main part

The main body starts from motif 1， 2 and 3, Motif 1 and 2 are made of joined small pieces and edging. Motif 3 is a complete flower piece. Motif 1 is made of 2 different pieces, piece 1, piece 2. Piece 2 also be used in Motif 2, another piece in motif 2 is a triangle piece.

Note: 
1. Since the petal colors for Small piece 2 are not fixed, you need to crochet the motifs with fixed colors first: Small piece 1, the triangle piece and Motif 3. Complete these before crocheting Small piece 2.
2. After completing all pieces for Motif 1 and 2, join the piece and edging.

Step 1 Motif 1: piece 1A1​ 02' 36'' ​(Part 1) 

The piece 1 starts with a double magic ring and crochet around the ring counterclockwise. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 2 Motif 2: Triangle pieceA2​ 23' 57'' ​(Part 1) 

The triangle piece use the double magic ring. Which is similar with piece 1. But here only with half of piece 1 and we will crochet in back and forth way. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 3 Motif 3A3​ 32' 45'' ​(Part 1) 

The Motif 3 is crocheted in rounds. The first few rounds are circular, The last few circles become squares. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: 
In round 13, except for the double crochets, all other stitches are worked by picking up the back loop only.

Step 4 Motif 1, 2: Piece 2A4​ 09' 01'' ​(Part 2) 

The piece 2 start with a double magic ring and crochet around the ring counterclockwise. For the first two rounds of each piece 2, use a settled color. The petal part can be randomized according to the length of the remaining yarns we used. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 5 Motif 1, 2: Join and edging of pieces 30' 21'' ​(Part 1) 

First, refer to the finished product and the layout diagram to connect the corresponding pieces of the two motifs. Then, crochet the edging along the edges. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: 
You'll need to adjust the stitch count during the connection process, check out the video for the method.

Part 2 Main part: join and edging of Motifs 57' 33'' ​(Part 1) 

First, refer to the layout diagram for the join dirction, and join the three types of Motifs using the same method as the previous piece connections. Complete by edging in rounds. For specifics, please refer to the video demonstration. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
