Tea Whisper

This sweater is divided into several parts: collar, shoulder-parts, body, hem, and sleeves. You knit each part in order from top to bottom.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: Susan's Family South African Soft Mohair Mixed Hand-Knitting Yarn (two strands)

Needles: 5.00 mm circular needle ＆ short straight needle
4.50 mm circular needle ＆ short straight needle (Collar, Hem, Cuffs)

K on RS, P on WS: knit on right side, purl on wrong side

P on RS, K on WS: purl on right side, knit on wrong side

yo: yarn over

skp(o): on right side, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit next stitch, pass slipped stitch over; on wrong side, change the place of first 2 loops, purl 2 stitches together

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together on right side, purl 2 stitches together on wrong side

double stitch: double legs slip stitch, slip the stitch purlwise and bring the yarn to the back and pull it tightly, so that both legs of the stitch in the row below are on the needle

2/1 LC: slip 1 st onto cn, hold in front, k2, k1 from cn

1/2 RC:  slip 2 st onto cn, hold in back, k1, k2 from cn

M1BL: make one backwards loop

m1l: lift strand between last stitch knitted and first stitch on left needle on the left needle, from front to back, and work that strand through the back loop

Note: 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2. The chart represent the right side of fabric, so check the key to see how to work a certain symbol on the right side and on the wrong side.

Part 1 CollarA​Shoulder-partsB​ 02' 49'' ​

Use the method of alternating cable cast-on. Start by casting on and knitting the collar, then continue to knit the shoulder-parts. For the shoulder-part section, you need to knit short rows. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 2 BodyC​HemD​ 39' 03'' ​

First, hold on the stitches at the sleeve positions, then knit the body in the front and back pieces area, and continue to knit the hem afterward. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 SleevesE​ 50' 02'' ​

There are 2 sleeves in total. Each sleeve is divided into the sleeve body and the cuff. First, pick up stitches along the armhole and knit the sleeve body, then knit the cuff. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
