Bag

Tulip Drawstring

Pattern format

Instructions

This product is divided into pre-made bag bottom, bag body, drawstring, tulip, and accessories assembly. The bag bottom is pre-made and does not require crocheting. On the bag bottom, join the yarn and crochet in rounds counterclockwise to make the bag body. After completing the bag body, crochet the drawstring and thread it through the top of the bag body. Then crochet the tulips and attach them to both ends of the drawstring. Finally, sew on the D-rings and attach the pre-made strap.

Note: Hand-measured, with an error margin of 1-2 cm.
Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials:  5-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn

Hook: 2.50 mm crochet hook

Note:
1. Before working Round 1, leave a 2m (or slightly more than 2m) tail for later use. Use regular short needles for Round 1. Starting from Round 2, work X-shaped single crochet whenever you encounter a short needle. After completing the third round, use the initially reserved yarn to draw through from the first chain space at the bottom of the bag, and work slip stitches counterclockwise around the hole at the bottom of the bag. Finally, finish with an invisible bind off.
2. While crocheting the first three rounds of the bag body pattern, observe whether the piece is smaller than the bottom of the bag. If it's too small, consider adjusting your tension or changing the hook size to re-crochet. Note that it shouldn't be too large either.
3. Round 7 is worked in the chain spaces of Round 4 without covering the chain stitches of Round 5.
4. Rounds like Round 6 are worked in the chain spaces of the previous round.
5. Rounds like Round 8 are worked by covering the chain spaces of the previous two rounds.
6. Rounds like Round 10 are worked on the short needle stitches of the second last round, without covering the chain spaces of the previous round.
