This blanket consists of the main part and the edging. The main part is made up of Motif One, Motif Two, Motif Three, and Motif Four. First, crochet the motifs, then connect them, and finally add the edging.


The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: Susan's Family Morandi 8# Hook: 3.5.00 mm crochet hook

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Part 1 Motif 1A 00' 43'' (Part 1)
Motif One starts with a magic ring, crocheted in rounds counterclockwise. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 2 Motif 2B 10' 07''
Motif Two starts with the magic ring method and is worked back and forth. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 Motif 3C 17' 21'' (Part 1)
Motif Three is worked using the magic ring method, crocheting back and forth. The technique is similar to Motif Two.

Part 4 Motif 4D 17' 34'' (Part 1)
Motif 4 starts with a magic ring, and you crochet in rounds counterclockwise. You need to switch colors while crocheting. When you reach round 12, work and join simultaneously. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Note:
① Work the second round on the front loops of the first round, and the third round on the back loops of the first round;
② Work the fourth round on the wrong side of the third round;
③ For the sixth round, pick up the transition strands from the back of the motifs and the third round slip stitch;
④ The eighth and ninth rounds have special patterns; please refer to the chart and video demonstration;
⑤ After completing the tenth round, don’t cut the yarn. Work the eleventh and twelfth rounds according to the edging chart and join.




Part 5 Connecting E and Crocheting the Edging F 00' 08'' (Part 2)
The connection is made in the twelfth round of Motif 4, crocheting around the edges while connecting it to other motifs; after completing the connection, proceed to crochet the edging. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
Note: When crocheting the popcorn stitch in the fourth round, you also need to wrap it around the chain stitch from the third round. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
