This cardigan is made by joining granny squares together. Once the joining is completed, crochet the edging around the edges, and finally sew on the buttons. It comes in both long and cropped versions.

Note:
1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
PART 1 Main Motif
First, crochet the main motif with variegated yarn, then join them together with solid color yarn. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: 1. After completing a variegated motif, you don't need to cut the yarn. Just leave a tail and start crocheting the next motif directly - check the video demo for details. 2. When joining motifs, you can use the continuous join method following the sequence shown in the structure diagram, or connect individual granny squares separately - just choose whichever method works best for you.
PART 2 Small Flower Motif
The small flower motifs are divided into neckline motifs and armhole underarm motifs. Crochet 2 neckline motifs and 4 armhole underarm motifs. Join them together after completing all motifs. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

PART 3 Edging
STEP 1 Crochet the armhole edging
The hooking method for both armholes on the left and right sides is the same. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

STEP 2 Neckline and Front band Edging
Start crocheting in the round from the shoulder, leaving space for buttonholes on one side. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
