Yili

It is composed of the front body, back body, sleeves, hem, edging, and Chinese frog. First, crochet the front and back pieces separately. After completing them, connect some parts. Then crochet and attach the sleeves. Next, pick up stitches from the front and back pieces respectively to crochet the hem. Finally, make and install the edging and the Chinese frog.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm.

Note: 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Note: The effect of crocheting will be slightly different due to the different starting color segments of the segment-dyed yarn. Everyone can choose the starting color segment according to their preference.

Part 1 The Main Part A​ 00' 48'' ​

Divide into Motif One A 1​, Motif Two A 2​, Motif Three A 3​, Motif Four A 4​, Motif Five A 5​. First, crochet one complete Motif One. Then, for the remaining motifs, refer to the layout diagram and crochet while joining them to their corresponding positions.  Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: After completing the first motif, measure the dimensions. If the size differs significantly, it is recommended to adjust your tension or switch to a different hook size and crochet again.

Part 2 Cuffs B​ 55' 59'' ​

Crochet in rounds along the armhole edge, and the method for both cuffs is the same. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 Collar Edge C​ 81' 57'' ​

Crochet back and forth along the neckline and front band area, using the same pattern as the cuff. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 4 Bottom Edge D​, Brooch Pin E​ 86' 37'' ​

Crochet back and forth along the collar edge and hem edge. After completing, attach the brooch pin at a proper position on the chest. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
