Zhuying Shawl

This shawl consists of the braid section, yoke section, collar, body, hem, and accessories. First, knit the braid section, then pick up strands on both sides of the braid section to knit the remaining parts, and finally make and attach the accessories.

Note: The chart shows the right side of the work. When crocheting back and forth, the wrong side should be worked in the opposite stitches as shown in the chart.
The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. 
Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: Morandi 4#

Tools：3.25mm circular needles,  4.00mm double pointed needles, 2.50mm hook

skp(o): on right side, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit next stitch, pass slipped stitch over; on wrong side, change the place of first 2 loops, purl 2 stitches together

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together on right side, purl 2 stitches together on wrong side

5/5 LC: slip 5 sts onto cn, hold in front, k5, k5 from cn

5/5 RC: slip 5 st onto cn, hold in back, k5, k5 from cn

bean stitch: chain 3, and work a double crochet 5 stitches popcorn

Note: 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Braid Section (4.00mm double pointed needles)

Cast on using the provisional chain cast on method, work in rows, and after completion, pick up the loops of the beginning and end and sew them together seamlessly with no visible seam.

Part 2 Yoke Section and Collar (3.25mm circular needles)

Pick up stitches on one side of the braid and work in rounds.

Part 3 Body Section and Hem (3.25mm circular needles)

Pick up strands on the other side of the cable section, work in rounds, and after completing everything, knit the edging at the hem position.

Part 4 Accessories

Including the tie and the beans. The tie is knitted in rounds, the specific number of rounds is not fixed, just work until it reaches a length of 1.5 m.

Note: Hook the bean at the top of the triangle in the body section, insert the hook from the right side, and after completing, pull the yarn tail to the wrong side to tie a knot and weave in.
