Auspicious Bird Bouquet-Magpie Delight

The bouquet consists of white magnolia branches, plum blossom branches, magpies, and packaging.

When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

Part 1 White Magnolia BranchesA​

The white magnolia flower branch includes large flowers, medium flowers, small flowers, leaves, and assembly.

The large flower consists of large petals, medium petals, the flower core, and the calyx. Both the petals and the flower core start with a chain stitch and are crocheted in rounds counterclockwise. When crocheting the first round of the petals, you need to wrap thin wire. The calyx starts with a magic ring and is crocheted in rounds counterclockwise along the magic ring loop. Both the medium flowers and small flowers are made up of small petals; they just differ in the number of petals. The crochet method for small petals is identical to that for large petals, but the stitch count is different. When crocheting the first round, you also need to wrap the thin wire. The leaf starts with a foundation chain, and is crocheted in rounds counterclockwise while wrapping wire. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

First, crochet the corresponding number of flowers, and then assemble the flower branches.

First, cut a piece of shaping wire about 25cm in length. Then, remove the outer covering of the shaping wire. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Step 4 WingsC4​ 30' 47'' ​(Part 2) 

The wings are divided into left and right. Each wing consists of 2 pieces, and each piece starts with a foundation chain, and work back and forth in rows along the chains. When working the second piece, you need to wrap thin wire inside. After completing the pieces, assemble them. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 5 TailC5​ 51' 44'' ​

The tail consists of one piece one and two piece twos. All of them start with a foundation chain and are crocheted in rounds counterclockwise, wrapping thin wire as you go. After completing the crochet, attach them. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.
