Celestial Swirl Beanie

This earmuff hat consists of two parts: the main part and the decorations. First, crochet the main part, then make the decorative elements and attach them.

Note: Hand-measured, with a possible error of 1-2 cm. Due to differences in individual tension, the sample size is for reference only.

Yarn: Su Su's Monet Impression.
Tools: 3.00 mm crochet hook.

1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

PART 1 Main part

The main part is divided into section one, section two, section three, and the edging. For section one, chain 169 stitches, then chain 2 as the turning chain (not counted as a stitch, same below), start working back and forth from the third chain according to the chart. Continue without cutting the yarn for section two, working in rounds back and forth. For section three, rejoin the yarn and work, then without cutting the yarn, turn the piece and work the edging in rounds. For the edging, work single crochet on the right side along section three's edge; refer to the video demonstration for details.

PART2 Decorations

The decoration consists of two parts: the loop and the braid. Make them separately first, then assemble them, and finally attach them to the main part. For details, refer to the video demonstration.

Slip stitch × 2

Braids: 6 pieces, crochet 180 chain stitches, leave 10cm tails at both ends, total 18 strands, group every 3 strands together, fold in half and braid.
