Cheerful Cup Cozy

The cozy come in 2 versions, all consisting of the bottom, body, face, lace trim, hands, feet, buttons, facial features, and straps.

 Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Materials:  4-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn
Hook: 2.00 mm crochet hook

Note:
 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2. Working in joined round
When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

Part 1 Bottom + Body + Face 00' 55'' ​(Part 1) 

The bottomA​starts with a magic ring and is crocheted counterclockwise outward. The bodyB​begins with a foundation chain and is crocheted back and forth. The faceC​is crocheted in rounds on the body. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Note:
1. The size of the bottom can be adjusted according to preference, by adjusting the number of chains to change the height of the body.
2. For both versions, each color block is 7 rows. The first color block is crocheted for 6 rows, with the last row being crocheted at the end.
3. If the number of rounds for the bottom has been adjusted, the number of rows in the body can be changed to prevent color overlap.
4. The joining of the body is done on the wrong side.

Part 2 Lace TrimD​ 50' 23'' ​(Part 1) 

Work the lace trim in rounds for 2 rounds at the corresponding position on the face. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Part 3 HandE​ 00' 12'' ​(Part 2) 

The crochet method is the same for both versions, and the same for both hands for each version. They all use the magic ring to start, crocheting in rounds, and after completion, stick waterdrop beads. Then, attach the hands to the body. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Part 5 ButtonG​ 22' 05'' ​(Part 2) 

Sew two buttons in the middle position between the feet and at the junction of two color blocks. Sew them at an approximate height. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Part 6 Facial FeaturesH​

The facial features are divided into hat, ears, eyes, mouth, and blush.

Step 1 HatH1​ 25' 04'' ​(Part 2) 

The hat is divided into the left hat and the right hat, are worked identically. They both begin with a magic ring and are crocheted counterclockwise outward. Then, assemble them accordingly. Finally, attach a pom-pom. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

The eyes are composed of an eye fabric piece and an eye patch. For the giggle eye piece, start with a foundation chain and work one row. Step 4 Mouth + Blush 50' 02'' ​(Part 2)

Part 7 StrapI​ 57' 20'' ​(Part 2) 

The straps are composed of strap piece and ribbon. The strap piece start with a foundation chain and are crocheted back and forth. After completion, sew on the ribbon, and finally assemble it. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.
