ch2 sl picot: chain 2, and then join with one slip stitch into both the front loop of the previous stitch and the front leg strand of the previous stitch.

dc3-bobble: double crochet 3 stitches into the same stitch and crocheted together

sc3-in-1: 3 single crochets into the same stitch

dc3-in-1: 3 double crochets into the same stitch

dc4-in-1: double crochet 4 stitches into the same stitch

Note:

1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
2. When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

Part 1  Main part ​

Step 2 Fish body A2​ 15' 02'' ​

Start with magic ring. Crochet in rounds. Stuff after completing. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.  

Step 3 Chest A3​ and head A4​ 32' 01'' ​

Crochet the chest upward along the fish body. Add some stuffing when crocheting. You need to attach the arms as you go. Insert shaping wire into both arms. Finally, crochet the head and add some stuffing. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.   

Step 4 Ears A5​ 45' 58'' ​( 25#Sheer Pink )

Start with magic ring. Secure them onto the head after completing. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.  

Step 5 Fish tail A6​ 51' 29'' ​

We'll start with a foundation chain. Work back and forth along the row of starting stitches, when crocheting the last row, you'll need to insert the  2 shaping wires.  After completing this part, join it with the fish body. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 1 Decorations on fish tail and body, bodice 70' 22'' ​

Attach various decorations to the fish tail and body B1​, then make the top B2​. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details. 

Step 2 Waist chain, hair, facial features and decorations  88' 48'' ​

First make the waist chain B3​, then attach the hair B4​ to the head, followed by making the facial features B5​, and finally attach the decorations B6​. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
