Prosperity Majestic Elephant

This toy consists of head, nose, tusk, neck, front legs, hind legs, body, belly, tail, ears, motifs, the assembly of motifs and decorations.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

Materials: Susan's Family Handcrafted 4-Ply Combed Cotton & Acrylic Fibre Hand Knitting Yarn，8# Lace. 
Hook: 2.00 mm, 1.50 mm hook (The small crochet hook is used to make motifs)

This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Note:
 1.  This toy (head, nose, tusk, neck, front legs, back legs, body, belly, tail) is crocheted using the X-shaped single crochet.
 2. When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch and tightening. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

After completing the front legs and back legs separately, connect them by crocheting the body. Don't cut the yarn after crocheting a few rounds for the body; you can pick up the new yarn to crochet the belly. Once that's done, continue crocheting the body. Finally, sew the body to the head. The right ear is started with a magic ring and crocheted in rounds counterclockwise. The left ear is also started with a magic ring, but the first three rounds are crocheted clockwise, and the next two rounds are crocheted counterclockwise. So after completing the third round, you need to turn your work and continue crocheting.

Note: Reserve a 30 cm tail at both the beginning and end of the shrimp stitches.
