Impressionism Bouquet || Van Gogh’s Sunflowers

This Van Gogh’s Sunflowers of bouquet is divided into two parts: the flower branches and the packaging.

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Flower A​

There are mainly six types of flower branches: daisies, leaves, sunflower A, B, C, and D.

Step 1 DaisyA1​ 01' 05'' ​

The daisies consist of multiple parts: the flowers, the calyx, and the assembly. The flowers are pre-made and do not need to be made. The calyx is started with an adjustable magic ring and crocheted in rounds counterclockwise. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 2 LeavesA2​ 07' 44'' ​

There are two sizes of leaves, and they come in different quantities. The crocheting method is similar for both; we start with a foundation chain and crochet in rounds counterclockwise. During the crocheting process, thin wire needs to be added. Finally, assemble them into a flower branch.Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: When crocheting the first round, add 2 thin wires of approximately 65cm to the large leaves and 2 thin wires of approximately 35cm to the small leaves.

Step 3 Sunflower AA3​ 25' 16'' ​

Sunflower A comes in various color schemes and is divided into the flower core, petals, calyx, and assembly sections. When crocheting the petals, thin wire is added. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: For rounds 6 to 11, work in the back loops only. For rounds 12 to 14, work in the remaining front loops of the corresponding rounds.

Step 4 Sunflower BA4​ 60' 32'' ​

Sunflower B is divided into the flower core, petals, calyx, and assembly sections. When crocheting the petals, add thin wire. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 5 Sunflower C A5​ 78' 32'' ​

Sunflower C comes in various color schemes, all divided into three parts: the flower core, calyx, and assembly.Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Step 6 Sunflower DA6​ 87' 01'' ​

The Sunflower D is divided into the flower core and the calyx. The flower core is made by wrapping the yarn (about 80 rounds, or you can adjust it as needed). The calyx consists of the main part and the leaves. The main part is started with a magic ring and crocheted in rounds counterclockwise. After completing the main part, crochet the leaves in rounds.
