Jialan

The vest is divided into the back body,  left and right front bodies , sewing, and decorations.. First, complete the back body and left and right front bodies separately, then sew the shoulders and the side seams of the body together. Once sewing is done, make the decorations and attach them.

Note: Hand-measured, with a possible error of 1-2 cm. Due to differences in individual tension, the sample size is for reference only.

Yarn : Alpaca. Tools : 3.0 mm crochet hook.

PART 1 Back Body A​ 00' 48'' (Part 1)

The back body is divided into the main part and the edging. First, crochet the main part, then the edging. The main part is divided into the body, chest piece, and  shoulder - part . Start with the body, then crochet the chest piece and shoulder - part onto the body. The edging is crocheted counterclockwise around the edge of the main part. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: After completing row 3, the height should be 2.5 cm. Compare it with the chart measurements. If there's a significant difference, adjust your tension and re-crochet to avoid affecting the final size.

PART 2 Left and Right Front Bodies B​ 00' 07'' (Part 2) 

Left and right front bodies, divided into left front body and right front body , both consist of the main part and edging. The main part is divided into motif, section 1, section 2, and section 3. Start by crocheting the motif, then work section 1 on one side of the motif. After completing section 1, work section 2 on top of it, and finally crochet section 3 on the other side of the motif. Once the main body is done, crochet the edging. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: After completing round 6, the height should be 6.7 cm. Compare it with the pattern measurements. If there's a significant difference, adjust your tension and rework to avoid affecting the final size.

PART 3 Sewing  C​ 、Decorations D​ 57' 27'' (Part 2)

Sewing is divided into shoulder seams and body seams. With the wrong sides of the front and back bodies facing each other, use the whip stitch to sew the overlapping parts of the shoulders and side seams. Finally, make the decorations, which include 2 ties and 2 tassels. First crochet the ties, then make the tassels, and finally sew them together. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: 1. There are 2 ties. First, leave a yarn tail at least 3 times longer than the total tie length. At the designated position, crochet a chain for hanging the tie. Each tie needs a 33 cm chain. After completing, leave a long yarn tail for sewing. 
2. Use an 8 cm cardboard, wrap yarn around it about 56 times to make tassels. After finishing, sew them onto one end. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.
