Lucky Chinese Fan

This fan consists of the main part and accessories. First, make the main part, then attach the accessories.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.
Materials: Susan's Family Combed 3# Lace and Golden thread

Hook: 1.75 mm crochet hook

ch: chain

sl: slip stitch (tighten it or not)

sc: single crochet

hdc: half double crochet

dc: double crochet

tr: treble crochet

MR: adjustable magic ring

ch3 sl picot: chain 3, and then join with one slip stitch into both the front loop of the previous stitch and the front leg strand of the previous stitch.

Note: This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Main pieceA​ 00' 36'' ​

The main part consists of two sections. The first section is made by joining motifs together. You work and join the edging along the sides to form a circular pattern, then crochet a corner triangle at the center. The second section involves crocheting in rounds around the outer edge of the motifs and connecting them to the fan frame. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Note: The motifs in the first section should not exceed the dimensions marked on the chart.
