This shawl is divided into the main part and accessories. Crochet the main part first, then make the accessories and sew them on at the end.

Note: Hand-measured, so there might be a 1-2 cm error. Since everyone’s tension is different, the swatch size is just for reference.

Yarn : South African Soft Mohair Mixed Hand-Knitting Yarn Space-dyed (for the main part), Fancy Dyed Lace (for the accessories).
Tools: 2.50 mm crochet hook (for the main part), 2.00 mm crochet hook (for the accessories).

Note:
1. Both of these yarns are variegated. Since variegated yarn has sections of different colors, the starting point of the color sequence can slightly change the final look. You can check out the finished sample for reference, or just pick whichever part of the yarn you like to start crocheting from.
 2. The South African Soft Mohair Mixed Hand-Knitting Yarn Space-dyed yarn from Susan's Family is quite special and not easy to undo, so you might want to practice with a different yarn first. Since everyone’s tension varies, it’s a good idea to crochet a gauge swatch with the original yarn before starting the main project. Measure your tension and check the dimensions after crocheting. Once your swatch matches the required gauge, you can go ahead and start crocheting with the original yarn.
 3. When you run out of yarn while working on the main part, join the new ball following the color sequence to keep the finished look neat and tidy.

Part 1 The Main Part A 00' 27''

For the main part, start with a foundation chain method and crochet back and forth in rows. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 2 Accessories B 22' 04''

The accessories are divided into starfish, conch shells, seashells, coral, and the sewing part, plus a pearl brooch. Crochet each piece separately, then sew them together, and finally attach the pearl brooch. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Starfish × 4

Note: Cut a 1 m length of sewing thread. Sew a 6 mm pearl in the center of Round 1 of the starfish. Then, sew one 4 mm pearl and two 3 mm pearls at the center of each point of the starfish.

Conch Shells × 4

Note: 1. For Row 2, work through the back loop. For Row 3, work through the front loop.
2. Leave a 10cm tail at the end, and sew a blue pearl in the center.

Seashell x 4

Note: 1. When working Row 6, fold the piece in half first. Crochet the first two stitches and the last two stitches together with the other side using slip stitches.
 2. Cut a 40 cm piece of sewing thread and sew the pearl embellishments at the starting point inside the shell, stitching on two 4 mm pearls, one 6 mm pearl, one 12 mm pearl, and one 3 mm pearl in sequence.

Coral ×4

Note: 1. Sew a set of accessories at the cast-on edge and the last row edge of the main part. You can arrange the order of the accessories however you like.
2. Cut two 1m lengths of sewing thread, combine them into one, and sew the accessories on one side of the main part along with the blue pearls.
