This vest is divided into several parts: the front piece, back piece, collar, and straps. Start by knitting the back piece, then knit the front piece, next pick up stitches and knit the collar, and finally pick up stitches to knit the straps.

Note: 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2. The chart represent the right side of fabric, so check the key to see how to work a certain symbol on the right side and on the wrong side.
3. The left and right sides on the chart refer to the left and right sides of the garment when it is being worn.

Part 1 Back pieceA​ 01' 10'' ​

Divide into the body and chest piece, alternating cable cast on stitches, then knit back and forth. For specifics, please refer to the video demonstration.

Part 2 Front pieceB​ 57' 38'' ​

Similarly, divide into the body and the chest piece. Alternating cable cast on stitches, and knit back and forth at first. Finally, bind off by combining with the front piece and sew together the sides of the body. For specifics, please refer to the video demonstration.

Part 3 NecklineC​ 84' 39'' ​

Pick up the corresponding number of stitches along the neckline on the front and back pieces separately, then knit the garter stitch according to the pattern chart, and finally bind off with 1×1 rib stitch. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Part 4 Straps D​ 93' 48'' ​

There are four in total. Pick up stitches on the body side edges of the front and back pieces and knit the garter stitch pattern. Finally, bind off with 1×1 rib stitch. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.
