slslip stitch (tighten it or not)

Note:
1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

PART1 Shoulder-Parts (Part 1) 01' 15''

Start with a chain stitch foundation, working back and forth in rounds. There are 208 stitches along the four sides plus 2 stitches at each of the four corners, totaling 216 chain stitches for the foundation. Do not join with a slip stitch; instead, work 3 additional chain stitches as the turning chain (counted as the first double crochet). Begin working the first round from the fourth chain from the hook, following the chart. After completing the round, weave in the starting tail. At this point, the piece forms a continuous ring (refer to video demonstration).

The shoulder-parts consist of 20 rounds: Rounds 1-6 follow the chart, with Rounds 2-5 repeated three more times up to Round 17. Rounds 18-20 follow the same pattern as Rounds 2-4, worked back and forth according to the chart (meaning you turn your work after each round). Once the entire garment is finished, add the neckline edging (blue background, right side facing out, crocheting in rounds without turning). For details, please refer to the video demonstration.

PART2 Body (Part 1) 49' 14''

The body is divided into Body Section 1, Body Section 2, and Body Section 3. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Section One: Body - After completing Round 20 of the shoulder-neck section without cutting the yarn, start crocheting back and forth for Section One, a total of 4 rows, with this side as the back piece.

Section Two: Round 1 connects to Section One. First crochet 117 stitches for the back piece, then 18 stitches for the underarm increase, turn to crochet 117 stitches for the front piece, and another 18 stitches for the underarm increase to return to the beginning. The front and back pieces are now connected, totaling 270 stitches. Continue crocheting back and forth according to the chart from Round 2 to Round 4. Repeat Rounds 3-4 as one set, 6 more times until Round 16, then crochet Round 17 to complete Section Two, totaling 17 rounds.

Section Three: Connect to Section Two, crochet back and forth according to the chart. Repeat Rounds 2-5 as one set, 3 more times until Round 17. Rounds 18-20 follow the same crocheting method as Rounds 2-4. Section Three is now complete, totaling 20 rounds.

PART 3 Sleeves (Part 2) 36' 20''

Sleeves have a total of 17 rounds, crocheted back and forth in rounds. R1 with right side facing out, 150 stitches in total. Except for the first round, the left sleeve is exactly the same as the right sleeve. Please refer to the video demonstration for details.

Note: Here, left and right refer to the left and right when wearing.

PART 4 Neckline Edging (Part 2) 54' 08''

Start at the neckline cast-on edge, crochet in rounds, refer to the video demonstration for details.
