Nine Caissons Blanket

This blanket consists of three parts: motifs, joining, and edging. Here, only the first motif is fully crocheted, while the remaining motifs are joined together as the last round of double crochets is worked for the edging. Finally, the border is crocheted.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm.

ridged-dc: double crochet in the single loop near the wrong side only.

tr2-bobble: treble crochet 2 stitches into the same stitch and crocheted together

ridged-tr: half double crochet in the single loop near the wrong side only.

dc5-popcorn: 5 double crochets popcorn

bptr2tog: back post treble crochet 2 stitches worked together

bpsc2tog: back post single crochet 2 stitches worked together

Note: 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 

Part 1 Motif & Motif Joining

The motif includes contrasting color A and contrasting color B. First, crochet a complete motif in contrasting color A. For the remaining motifs, work and join along the edge in the last round. For the specific joining method.

Note: The double crochets of Round 16 are worked into the front loops of the top chain stitches.
