Pretzel Dachshund

The method for the toy version and the pendant version is the same. Just the yarn and accessories vary. Both are made up of the main body, facial features, feet, tail, and sea salt. Start by making the main body. Then make the facial features, feet, and tail. Finally, embroider the sea salt. For the pendant version, attach the pendant.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm. Due to variations in individual tension, the size of the sample is for reference only.

 1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm. 
2.  Working in joined round 
When crocheting in rounds without further guidance, working in closed rounds, start each round with a set number of beginning chains and close with a slip stitch. The beginning chain preceding a single crochet and the slip stitch used for joining rounds are not included in the total stitches.

Part 2 Facial featuresB​ 33' 25'' ​

The facial features can be divided into ears, eyes, nose, and eyebrows. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 3 FeetC​ 53' 57'' ​

We need to crochet four identical ones. No stuffing is needed. All of them start with a magic ring. Crochet in rounds counterclockwise. Sew it onto the main body once it's completed. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 4 TailD​ 57' 53'' ​

Start with a foundation chain. Begin from the second stitch from the hook. Sew it onto the main body once it's completed. Please refer to the video demonstration for more details.

Part 5 Sea salt and PendantE​ 61' 12'' ​

Shape the dachshund into a pretzel shape. After twisting, take 20 centimeters yarn. Sew and secure it at the crossing point. The sea salts uses three strands for French knots. Cut 20 centimeters yarn the same as the starting point of the main body. For the pendant version, you need to attach the pendant. Cut about 30 centimeters of the main body yarn.
