Shiyang Floral Decoration-Carnation

This decoration is divided into flower branches, basket, and assembly. There are mainly 5 types of flower branches: carnations, pearl leaves, ribbon leaves, vine decorations, and ribbon flowers. Complete the making of each type of flower branch first, then assemble them with the basket.

Note: The basket measures 19cm in length, 10cm in width, and 23cm in height (when the handle is upright).
 A single kit can make up to 19 flowers.
Due to different crochet tension from person to person, the sample is for reference only.

Part 1 Carnations (Refer to EN1273)A​

The carnation consists of flowers and leaves. First, crochet the flowers and leaves separately, and then assemble them together at last.Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Step 1 Flowers × 14A1​ 00' 31'' ​

The flower consists of two parts: the calyx and the petals. First, crochet the calyx using the magic ring method and work in rounds. After completing it, switch colors to crochet the petals. Once the petals are done, you need to sew together the first round to gather it. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Step 2 Leaves × 14A2​ 25' 22'' ​

For the leaf, we will start from the foundation chain and work in rounds along this starting edge, incorporating a thin wire as we crochet, leaving 5cm of wire at both the beginning and end. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Step 3 AssemblyA3​ 33' 16'' ​

Lastly, assemble the flowers and leaves. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Part 2 Pearl Leaf, Ribbon Leaf, Vine Decoration & Ribbon Flowers 01' 46'' ​

First, make individual pearl leaves and ribbon leaves, keeping the materials needed for later steps aside. Then create bunches of pearl leaves and bunches of ribbon leaves. Finally, make vine decorations and ribbon flowers. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.

Part 3 Basket DecorationF​ & AssemblyG​ 25' 15'' ​

Make decorations on the basket using lace ribbons and cards, etc., and then assemble. First, add floral foam in the basket, cover with wrapping paper, and then insert various flower branches and clip notes. Please refer to the video demonstration for specifics.
