Síhé Benediction Blanket

The blanket is made of motif 1, connecting motif 1, the first edging, motif 2, and connecting motif 2. It consists of connecting the pieces and the second edging. In order, first crochet and connect the motif 1 sections. After completing, crochet the first edging around the outer-ring. Then move on to crocheting and connecting motif 2. After finishing, connect the motif 2 sections with the first edging. This is the piece connection. Finally, crochet the second edging around the perimeter of motif 2.

The handcrafted measurements may have an error of 1 to 2 cm.

Part 1 Motif 1 & Joining A​ 01' 12'' (Part1) ​

Motif 1 comes in solid colorA1​ and multicolored versionsA2​. The multicolored ones have several contrasting color schemes. The working method for both types of motifs is identical, but the handling of the beginning and ending of each round of the motifs will be slightly different. Crochet a complete motif 1 first, and then for the remaining motifs, work and join along the side when reaching the outermost circleA3​. For details, please refer to the video demonstration.

Note: Apart from motif 2 at the corners which should be fully completedC1​, the rest of motif 2 should be worked and joined simultaneously on the last roundC2​ (refer to the layout diagram). Pay attention that there is an adjustment on one of the side connections.
