This rug comes in large and small sizes, with identical making methods but different yarns used for each. Both versions consist of a main part and decorations. First, complete the main part, then work and attach the decorative elements.

Note: Hand-measured, with a possible error of 1-2 cm. Since everyone's tension varies, the sample size is for reference only.



Large size yarn/tools: Quizhi She CloudPlus, 6.50mm hook. Quizhi She Cloudlet, 3.00mm hook.

Small version yarn/tools: QuZhiShe Cloudlet (doubled), Susan's family 5.30mm hook or regular 5.50mm hook. #3 lace yarn, 2.00mm hook.

Note: Working with two strands means crocheting with two strands of yarn held together as one, while unmarked sections are worked with a single strand.


Chart Key

ch: chain
dc: double crochet
hdc: half double crochet
sc: single crochet
tr: treble crochet
sl: slip stitch (tighten it or not)
dc2-in-1: 2 double crochets into the same stitch
sc2-in-1: 2 single crochets into the same stitch
ch1 sl picot: chain 1, and then join with one slip stitch into both the front loop of the previous stitch and the front leg strand of the previous stitch.
sc2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together

1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.
