  1. This pattern is making in Chinese crochet pattern terms, and the stitch name is written using American terminology. All measurements in charts are in cm.

Part 1  Main Pieces

The main part starts with a chain foundation, then crochets back and forth along that initial row. The central area is shaped by alternating double crochet and chain stitches, forming the desired center pattern. Around the edges, decorative stitch patterns are worked to create open, lace-like designs.

Part 2  Decorations

The decorations mainly consist of flower stems, leaves, and blossoms. The stems and leaves are crocheted together as one piece, and while crocheting, they are joined to the corresponding positions on the main piece. The blossoms are made separately and then sewn onto the areas where the stems and leaves connect.

Step 1  Flower Stem and Leaves

The stem is crocheted with chain stitches. After completing one section of the stem, join it to the main piece with a slip stitch, securing it in the corresponding position. Continue crocheting the leaf, starting with a foundation chain and working in rounds from the magic ring. After finishing one leaf, continue crocheting the stem and other leaves. Once the last leaf is done, sew it together with the starting chain and the main piece.

Note:

① There are 32 leaves in total, and you may adjust the number of leaves based on your actual crocheting;

② The leaves should be attached approximately in the openwork pattern section of the main piece, arranged in a wavy line within about 4 cm from the outer edge. They should be symmetrically placed both vertically and horizontally, with less than 5 cm between adjacent leaves. The connecting chains between leaves can be slightly loose. For exact placement, you may refer to the finished product or arrange them according to your own preference.

Step 2 Flower

The flower is started with a chain stitch, then crocheted back and forth along the foundation chain. After completing it, leave a yarn tail of about 30 cm, roll it into a flower shape and secure it tightly. Then attach it to the leaf and the main piece.

① A total of 16 flowers are needed. Attach one flower between every two leaves, making sure the placement of the flowers is symmetrical both vertically and horizontally. Adjust the number of flowers as needed, and refer to the finished product or place them based on your preference.

② Once all the flowers are securely attached, you may also attach the remaining leaves to the main piece based on your personal preference.
